WOHP provides support to hospitals that are working on strategies to improve patient flow. Support can be provided through diagnostics, solutions, implementation and evaluation.
The data and analytics function within the WOHP team provides advice to WOHP leads across the state about data connected to their performance diagnostic and improvement work.
WOHP facilitates knowledge sharing and collaboration across the NSW Health system to support the development of new initiatives, sharing strategies and innovative best practice.
A fundamental part of the provision of emergency care in NSW hospitals is ensuring that the right patient is in the right place for the care they require and that the right resources are available for that care to be delivered.
The WOHP Mental Health Program provides strategic support and direction to improve patient flow and access to care for mental health consumers.
The NSW Hospital Guardianship Program improves the length of stay for patients waiting in NSW Hospitals for guardianship matters to be heard.
