Rupesh Udani: I’d like to begin by acknowledging the traditional owners of the land on which we gather today and pay tribute to elders past and present.
In 2016, my son Deyaan Udani was declared brain dead and because he learned from the school about organ donation, he has already told us he wants to be a donor.
That time I came to know he has saved four people’s lives, which really motivated me.
One of my proudest achievements has been the establishment of an awareness day, called Saffron Day, in memory of Deyaan.
