HealthOne NSW research

The HealthOne NSW service model has attracted academic interest both nationally and internationally as an example of integrated primary and community health care.

The Menzies Centre for Health Policy, The University of Sydney, has evaluated two HealthOne NSW sites - Mt Druitt and Blacktown (2013).

The Menzies Centre also prepared a case study on the HealthOne Mt Druitt service, which was selected by The King’s Fund, UK, as one of seven case studies from seven countries describing models for successfully delivering integrated health and social care for older people with complex needs. This paper was published in January 2014.

A paper by the Menzies Centre providing further detail on the HealthOne Mt Druitt study was published in a special issue of the International Journal of Integrated Care.

The Centre for Primary Health Care and Equity, University of NSW, included one HealthOne NSW service as part of their case study of six co-located multidisciplinary integrated primary healthcare centres. The study also included GP Super Clinics, community health centres and a multidisciplinary general practice, located in urban and rural locations in NSW and Victoria.
