The Medical Locum Agencies listed on the NSW Health Register have undergone a third-party certification audit to demonstrate compliance with the standards and conditions for the provision of Locum Medical Officers to NSW Public Health Organisations. Once certified, an agency must complete an agreement with at least one NSW local health district to be listed on the NSW Health Register of Medical Locum Agencies. The certification and registration process, together with the standards and conditions for the provision of Locum Medical Officers to NSW Public Health Organisations are set out in the Medical Locum Agency Requirements.
