NSW Health Workforce Plan 2022-32 Supplementary Guide

Summary

The NSW Health Workforce Plan 2022-32 – Supplementary Guide and supporting Appendix have been developed to support the implementation of the Health Workforce Plan.  

The Supplementary Guide and Appendix serve to:

1. Recap on the development of the HWP, including extent of engagement, alignment with sector strategies and relevance in the current environment
2. Reinforce the role of the HWP as providing long term direction at the system level, with flexibility for local implementation
3. Provide additional clarity around the roles of key stakeholders, in particular expectations of organisations noted as 'leads'
4. Provide further detail for each priority area, including context, outcomes and activities.
