The NSW Principles of Allied Health Governance report provides a foundation to guide best practice strategic, operational, professional, and clinical allied health governance - all of which are essential for safe and high-quality service delivery.
A self-assessment tool has been developed as part of the report to assist Local Health Districts (LHDs) and Specialty Health Networks (SHNs) to understand their current state and provides a roadmap of opportunities to strengthen allied health governance that can be considered for customisation and implementation within LHD/SHN context.
