Approval to prescribe and supply Schedule 8 medicines
SafeScript NSW allows health practitioners to view approvals* issued for Schedule 8 medicines. Applications to prescribe psychostimulant medications and medicines under the Opioid Treatment Program can now be submitted and managed via SafeScript NSW.

*Note: An approval issued to a prescriber by the NSW Ministry of Health is separate from the authority issued under the Pharmaceutical Benefits Scheme (PBS) to subsidise the cost of medicines for patients.
