The CYPFESC met on Tuesday 4 February 2025. The patient story focused on The Quiet Pathway, a program at Sydney Children’s Hospitals Network led by the anaesthetic department. It is a perioperative preparation program designed to provide tailored admission processes for children who require anaesthesia for medical procedures but face severe anxiety, autism, or behavioural and intellectual disabilities. The committee discussed the potential for the pathway to be expanded to other parts of the state and the need to support the expansion of other innovative models statewide.
Aboriginal Health Plan
The NSW Aboriginal Health Plan 2024–2034 has been designed for use as a framework for the NSW Health system.
