Aaron Simon: I just want to acknowledge the traditional owners of the land on which we’re standing today and pay respects to elders past, present and emerging.

Kate Holloway: We know young people don’t consume as much traditional media or interact with government channels in a traditional way, so the music video gave us a different way of engaging with them and capturing those key health messages.

Helen Gardiner: So we needed a unique approach to reach our young Aboriginal people because we know that they’re uniquely affected.

Through the music video, we were able to reach close to 300,000 people through social media. We really saw that having a message from young people for young people achieved a success through this unique approach.
