Find information, programs, and services to help you eat healthily and move more.

  • The Get Healthy Service is a free phone and online-based health coaching service supporting people in NSW to improve their health.
  • Get Healthy in Pregnancy is a free phone and online NSW Health coaching service for pregnant women in NSW. The service offers coaching and tools to help women stay healthy during their journey from pregnancy, to birth and beyond.
  • Active and Healthy website hosts an online exercise directory and free self-directed education modules to support healthy ageing and falls prevention. Through the exercise directory, older adults can find local physical activity programs, including falls prevention programs, tailored to those over the age of 50.
  • Aboriginal Knockout Health Challenge is a free 10-week challenge for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people in NSW. The Challenge is community-owned, where teams lead and run activities to improve the health of their local community.
  • Quiz: how healthy are my habits? Take the quiz to find out how healthy your current habits are and where you could improve.
  • Weekly menu planner Use this tool to help you choose healthy meals and snacks you can prepare for the week.
  • Healthy recipe library has lots of fast, simple, budget friendly meal and snack ideas.

For children

Creating healthy habits in childhood sets kids up to thrive – for life. Healthy eating and being active support heathy growth and development. They promote better mood, mental health and success at school.

Find programs and services to support children's health – at home, school, and in the community. 

  • Munch & Move supports the healthy development of children birth to 5 years by promoting physical activity, healthy eating and reduced screen time. The program offers training and resources to educators working in NSW early childhood education and care services.
  • Go4Fun is a free 10-week program for NSW children aged 7 to 13 years and their families. Spend quality time as a family, have fun, and learn ways to create healthy habits together. Available face-to-face, online, and as a tailored program for Aboriginal families. 
  • Aboriginal Go4Fun is a free, culturally adapted program for Aboriginal children aged 7 to 13 and their families, delivered in partnership with Aboriginal organisations with trained health professionals.
  • Go4Fun Online includes online learning modules for NSW kids aged 7 to 13 and their families plus weekly health coaching calls. Go4Fun Online supports you and your child to improve their eating habits, fitness and confidence, from the comfort of your own home.
