The regulatory approach for cooling water systems in NSW is based on the 2011 edition of the Australian/New Zealand Standard (AS/NZS) 3666 Parts 1, 2, 3 and 4. These documents are available from

A licence from NSW Fair Trading may be required before any design, installation and maintenance of cooling water systems can be carried out. Further information can be obtained from
