Transcript of RISE participant feedback.
Megan Pinfold: I've really enjoyed the sessions. I at first thought this is another project that I don't have time to do, but the sessions have been very interactive and it's been really fantastic being able to collaborate with other NUMS from around the hospital and listening to their experiences of HealthRoster and I've actually learned a lot of tips from my colleagues.
Karen van Cuylenburg: I would have to agree with Megan, I think that having the open discussion, I think other than our managers being very open and across disciplines as well, I think that's been very interesting to see what happens within other domains of the hospital and also then being able to reflect back on with our weekly planner of what we can do to improve on our processes has been incredibly helpful for me.
Megan Pinfold: It's to embed into my team the employee online functionality within health roster and that way they know themselves that those over time shifts or whatever those extra hours that I've done are actually in the right health roster and that I will be paid correctly.
Karen van Cuylenburg: For myself, the excessive annual leave management is something that I really wanted to address a little bit more, a lot more effectively and having that template is something that I've already started to utilise. I am keen to see how that's going to pan out over the the year and how I can reflect back and see how much impact its had in daily business. I think it's not a program that is going to stop here, I think it's something that will continue on with each one of us individually because a lot of our individual weekly plans, things that cannot happen immediately, but they're a process that will take time to change culture within our units, but also in the way that we as managers individually work.
