The results of the 2015 YourSay Workplace Culture Survey demonstrate a modest improvement in workplace culture across the NSW Health system.
More than 55,000 staff and volunteers responded to the survey – about 41 per cent of NSW Health’s workforce (headcount) - an 18 per cent increase in responses since the survey was first conducted in 2011.
Many local health districts, networks and health agencies have improved on the 2013 survey results, including improved team morale and workplace culture.
Chief Executives of local health districts and other health agencies will be examining their own results closely and implementing local action plans to build on the progress they have made to date, and target those areas requiring greater attention highlighted in the survey.
Full and summary reports are available for organisations that comprised NSW Health at the time of completing the survey. These results will be used to guide local discussions and action planning to continue to improve workplace culture in each of our facilities to assist us in providing the best possible health care to the people of New South Wales.
