NSW Health partnered with Flourish Australia and Social Ventures Australia on an innovative mental health program to enhance the wellbeing of people in Nepean Blue Mountains and Western NSW Local Health Districts (LHDs).
Resolve operated in Western NSW and Nepean Blue Mountains LHDs from September 2017 to September 2024. This Social Benefit Bond (SBB) offered an innovative way to bring together capital and expertise from the public, private and non-profit sectors. Its aim was to trial a new approach to community based mental health care to deliver better outcomes for the people of NSW.
The program has ended and a final evaluation of the service will be conducted. People who would have been eligible for Resolve will still have access to community based mental health services comparable to those available in other local health districts.
