Overview

The Ministry of Health recognises the central role that volunteers provide for the delivery of compassionate palliative care and support for patients and families. The Ministry is seeking applications from organisations in NSW with the skills, experience and capacity to deliver a statewide Palliative Care Volunteer Services Support Program (VSSP). The VSSP has been delivered since 2014, following an open request for proposal process conducted by the Ministry.

The Ministry invites proposals from organisations to deliver the VSSP program from July 2024 to June 2027, providing a statewide operational framework for volunteer participation in end of life and palliative care. Funding is over a three-year period from FY2024-25 to FY2026-27.

The grant opportunity is open and competitive. Applications open 12pm midday 20 March 2024 and close 12pm midday, 25 April 2024.

The full grant opportunity is published on the NSW Grant and Funding Finder.
