Text alternative: Sugar in snack foods

The following snack foods are high in sugar and not healthy options: 

  • 2 sweet biscuits: 3 teaspoons sugar*
  • muesli bar: 4 teaspoons sugar*
  • small bottle of soft drink (390 ml): 10 teaspoons sugar*
  • large chocolate frog: 5 teaspoons sugar*
  • 3 fingers of lamington cake: 6 teaspoons sugar*
  • 6 snake lollies: 7 teaspoons sugar*



The following snack foods have no added sugar and are healthy options:

  • vegetable sticks
  • plain popcorn
  • salad on cracker
  • strawberries
  • tap water only
  • cheese cubes
