NSW Health is treating 40 COVID-19 cases, none of whom are in ICU. Most cases (95 per cent) are being treated in non-acute, out-of-hospital care, including returned travellers in the Special Health Accommodation.

While testing numbers rose in the past 24 hours, there has been a decline in people with symptoms being tested in recent weeks.

Maintaining high testing rates is the cornerstone for detecting any potential transmission of COVID-19 in the community and preventing the virus spreading further.

NSW Health thanks those who have come forward for testing, and strongly urges everyone to isolate and be tested immediately if even the mildest of symptoms appear. This is how we can keep our friends, family and community safe.

There are more than 350 COVID-19 testing locations across NSW. To find your nearest clinic, visit: COVID-19 clinics or contact your GP.
