NSW recorded no new locally acquired cases in the 24 hours to 8pm last night. One new overseas-acquired case of COVID-19 was recorded in the same period, bringing the total number of cases in NSW since the beginning of the pandemic to 5,111.
There were 6,249 tests reported to 8pm last night, compared with the previous day’s total of 13,460. Many testing clinics remain open over the Easter break. If you have any cold-like symptoms, please do not wait to get tested, but please
check online before attending a clinic, as opening hours may vary.
There were 1,299 COVID-19 vaccines administered by NSW Health in the 24 hours to 8pm last night. The total number of vaccines administered by NSW Health is now 126,494.
NSW Health’s vaccination clinics generally operate Monday to Friday. Therefore, there may be limited vaccines administered on weekend days and public holidays due to planned closures.

Anyone planning to visit NSW from Queensland, or who has been in Queensland in the past two weeks, should check the

Temporary restrictions remain in place in the local government areas of Tweed Shire Council, Ballina Shire Council, Byron Shire Council and Lismore City Council until 11.59pm on Monday 5 April. The community will be updated tomorrow (Monday).

NSW Health is treating 38 COVID-19 cases, none of whom are in ICU. Most cases (95 per cent) are being treated in non-acute, out-of-hospital care, including returned travellers in the Special Health Accommodation.
