NSW Health has been advised of a new venue visited by the confirmed case of COVID-19 announced on Sunday.
Anyone who visited any of the following venues at the listed times
should monitor for symptoms, and if they appear, immediately be tested and isolate until a negative result is received. If symptoms reappear, they should be tested again.
Hurstville Aquatic Leisure Centre (stadium and gymnasium area)
| Hurstville | King Georges Road and Forest Road, Hurstville |
Wednesday 10 March
4.15pm – 5.30pm
|
Coles | Coles, Hurstville Station | 225 Forest Road |
Saturday 13 March
7.30am – 7.40am |
NSW Health has revised the exposure times for the Coles at Hurstville Station on March 10. The advice remains the same:
Coles | Coles, Hurstville Station | 225 Forest Road |
Wednesday 10 March
9.15pm – 9.46pm |
As reported this morning, the source of the new case's infection is still under investigation. Genomic sequencing results received last night show a match to the viral strain of a COVID-positive returned traveller who was in the Sofitel Wentworth quarantine hotel while infectious.
There are more than 350 COVID-19 testing locations across NSW, many of which are open seven days a week. Find your nearest
testing clinic or contact your GP.
NSW Health urges anyone in NSW with even the mildest symptoms, such as headache, fatigue, cough, sore throat or runny nose, to come forward immediately for testing, then isolate until they receive a negative result.
