NSW Health is advising those who dined or worked at Jasmins1 Lebanese restaurant in Liverpool during the past week that a staff member is now a confirmed case of COVID-19.
This person will be included in tomorrow’s numbers.
Anyone who worked at or attended the restaurant for more than one hour on the following dates and times is now considered a close contact and must get tested immediately and isolate for a full 14 days from exposure, regardless of the result:
Anyone who attended for less than one hour during the above times is considered a casual contact and must monitor for symptoms and get tested immediately if they develop. After testing, you must remain in isolation until a negative test result is received.
The restaurant closed today and will remain so until further notice. NSW Health previously reported that cases attended the restaurant while infectious on Sunday 25 October.
Testing numbers have dropped recently, which is a concern. NSW Health is appealing to members of the south-western Sydney community in particular to come forward for testing right away if you have even the mildest of symptoms like a runny nose or scratchy throat, cough, fever or other symptoms that could be COVID-19.
There are more than 300 COVID-19 testing locations across NSW. To find your nearest clinic visit COVID-19 testing clinics or contact your GP. Most people receive their test results within 24 hours.
