NSW Health is clarifying the numbers of people associated with a healthcare worker announced Wednesday, June 30.
There are a total of nine other cases associated with this healthcare worker. Four of them are healthcare or aged care workers, meaning there are five healthcare or aged care workers in the total group of ten. The majority of these healthcare or aged care workers are linked by social or household contact, not via the workplace.
Four of these healthcare or aged care workers worked while infectious, while one did not. Contacts in patients and staff at the facilities have been identified and tested.
NSW Health has been notified of new venues of concern associated with confirmed cases of COVID-19.
Anyone who attended the following venues at the times listed is a close contact and must immediately get tested and isolate for 14 days, regardless of the result, and call 1800 943 553 unless they have already been contacted by NSW Health:
Anyone who attended the following venues at the listed times is a casual contact and must immediately get tested and self-isolate until a negative result is received. Please continue to monitor for symptoms and immediately isolate and get tested if they develop:
