The following checklist is to be completed at the end of week one:

  • I have been booked in the Orientation for Ministry of Health staff
  • I have read the State Health Plan: Towards 2021, my branch/division operational plans and any other key publications relevant to my role
  • I have been briefed about the role and functions of my branch
  • I have read and understood the NSW Health Code of Conduct, NSW Health Culture Framework, can articulate NSW Health's CORE Values and have completed all of my Mandatory Training
  • I have read the NSW Public Service Ethical Framework and Public Interest Disclosures policy
  • I have been briefed about the different levels of financial delegation within the Ministry of Health and the engagement of consultations / contractors
  • The Flexible Working Hours agreement has been explained and I have been shown how to access Stafflink, how to complete eFlex and eLeave
  • I understand my recordkeeping responsibilities including recording mail / documentation
  • I am aware of the location of the Library and how to obtain the services of Facilities Management and Records Services Support
  • I understand policies and procedures in relation to cab-charge use, petty cash, mobile phones and travel (where relevant).
