You will have the opportunity to travel and work for different local health districts and speciality networks across NSW.
This might suit you if you are:
NSW Health can open career opportunities, bring variety and mobility into your working life and broaden your horizons with unique experiences.
Full time and casual opportunities are available while on deployment. You will be required to work a roster to meet the needs of the facility. This may include shift work.
Deployments can last two – 13 weeks. If the local health district would like you to continue after the deployment, they may offer you a temporary contract.
Your accommodation, travel (flights and care hire), meals and some out-of-pocket costs will be paid under the NSW Health Travel Policy. The travel start point is Sydney.
Full time staff will accrue annual, sick and long service leave as detailed in the NSW Health award and conditions.
Our Workforce Operational Strategic Unit (WOSU) supports you with a range of resources, benefits and programs to help you make the most out of your deployment both personally and professionally.
