The Centre for Alcohol and Other Drugs has engaged in consultation with stakeholders from across the sector through interviews, focus groups, and workshops. This report presents the outcomes, methodology, key themes, and priority actions identified by our key stakeholders during the workforce strategy consultation process.
This consultation report will be used to inform the development of an AOD Workforce Strategy, currently being developed by the NSW Ministry of Health's Centre for Alcohol and Other Drugs (CAOD). The strategy will deliver a ten-year plan to enhance, strengthen, expand, and sustain the AOD workforce. The strategy will include recent workforce investments made by the Special Commission of Inquiry into the drug 'Ice', as well as new projects and strategies.
