The percentage of women who gave birth in NSW and were born in Australia increased slightly from 61.8% in 2018 to 64.7% in 2022. In 2022, women who gave birth in NSW and were born in India, China, the United Kingdom, the Philippines, New Zealand, Nepal, Vietnam, Pakistan, or Iraq together accounted for 18.8% of all women who gave birth in NSW.
