NSW Health has established a register for people with acute rheumatic fever (ARF) and rheumatic heart disease (RHD) to improve the long-term clinical care and follow-up of these patients. The register is a voluntary register and consent should be sought using the appropriate consent form and other resources below to ensure patients are making an informed decision.
Clinicians should follow the advice in the factsheet on consent for the ARF/RHD Register to achieve informed consent.
