Murray Valley Encephalitis

Murray Valley encephalitis is a serious and sometimes life-threatening infection caused by infection with a virus transmitted through mosquito bites. It has the capacity to cause severe human disease and urgent treatment should be sought if suspected. Prevention relies on avoiding mosquito bites.
