Summary
The NSW Health Workforce Plan 2022-32 – Supplementary Guide and supporting Appendix have been developed to support the implementation of the Health Workforce Plan.
The Supplementary Guide and Appendix serve to:
- Recap on the development of the HWP, including extent of engagement, alignment with sector strategies and relevance in the current environment
- Reinforce the role of the HWP as providing long term direction at the system level, with flexibility for local implementation
- Provide additional clarity around the roles of key stakeholders, in particular expectations of organisations noted as 'leads'
- Provide further detail for each priority area, including context, outcomes and activities.
