The PAVE Project evaluated the effectiveness of two register-based information dissemination interventions which had two aims; first, to increase the use of CVD medications by individuals who have had a CHD or stroke event; second, increasing GP provision of behavioural risk advice to those individuals. The project was funded under the NSW Health Promotion Demonstration Research Grants Scheme.
