The resources are designed to be presented directly to refugee groups, in their own language, by Bilingual Community Educators, or in simple English by other multicultural or health workers.

The resources are supported by a training presentation for oral health staff to provide to bilingual community educators or other refugee service staff, to provide them with oral health knowledge and guidance on using either the powerpoint presentation or flipchart. The training presentation and notes may be obtained by contacting the Centre for Oral Health Strategy on 8890 4300.
The resources are designed for groups with low literacy and are highly visual, and could also be used with any other multicultural community groups.
This multilingual DVD is based on the information included in the Share the Same Smile resources. It was produced by the NSW Refugee Health Service and the SWLHD Oral Health Service, with funding and support provided by the Centre for Oral Health Strategy NSW.

The DVD is available in 8 languages: Arabic - Iraqi, Arabic - Sudanese, Dari, English, Karen, Nepali, Tamil, and Urdu.
In 2013 the DVD won both the NSW Multicultural Health Communications Service award for the best multilingual DVD resource produced by a government-funded agency, and South Western Sydney Local Health District's Quality Award (Keeping People Healthy category).
This colourful translated factsheet provides information about healthy foods and drinks, when to get dental treatment, and oral health for children and babies. and list public dental services.
It is an ideal handout to use with the Share the Same Smile resources.
