Tamworth Hospital receives $415,000 for facility upgrades

​The New England community will benefit from a $415,000 investment by the NSW Government to upgrade existing facilities on the Tamworth Hospital campus.

This funding is part of the Minns Labor Government $12 million investment in 61 projects under the Regional Health Minor Works Program.

The upgrades include $165,000 for a purpose-built, accessible bathroom at Johnston House for patients, their families and carers attending community health appointments.

Patients in the cardiac unit and those undergoing exercise-based rehabilitation will also benefit from a $250,000 funding boost for upgraded flooring, acoustic improvements, and reverse cycle air conditioning.
