The NSW Chief Health Officer has issued a warning under Section 12A of the Public Health Act, for the community not to consume Uncle Frog's Mushroom Gummies after several people presented to hospital experiencing unexpected toxicity.
Since April 2024, at least five people have been treated in NSW hospitals after ingesting the gummies, named.
There have also been hospitalisations interstate. NSW Health is working with other jurisdictions to further investigate the issue.

Medical Director of the NSW Poisons Information Centre Dr Darren Roberts urged the community to avoid using the products if they have been purchased.
“Investigations are ongoing as to what these products contain. We are strongly recommending that people do not consume these products," Dr Roberts said.
If you have these products, dispose of them safely, away from children and pets to avoid accidental consumption.
