NSW Health reported earlier today (Thursday) that a man in his 40s from Sydney's north-western suburbs had tested positive for COVID-19.
His test results showed low virus levels and he is not yet linked to any known cases. An expert panel convened by NSW Health this evening reviewed the results of additional testing and was unable to rule out the possibility the person had COVID-19.
The man's three household contacts have all returned negative results to date.
Out of an abundance of caution, NSW Health is asking people who have attended the following venue at the time listed to
immediately call NSW Health on 1800 943 553, get tested and self-isolate until you receive further advice from NSW Health:
Northmead | Northmead Bowling Club | 166 Windsor Road |

|
NSW Health has also been advised of further venues visited by other confirmed cases.

Monday 14 June 11:00am to 1:00pm

Anyone who has attended either of the following venues at the times listed is
a casual contact and must immediately get tested and isolate until a negative result is received. Continue to monitor for symptoms, and if they appear, get tested and isolate again:

Anyone with even the mildest of cold-like symptoms is urged to immediately come forward for testing and isolate until a negative result is received.
