NSW recorded no new locally acquired cases of COVID-19 in the 24 hours to 8pm last night.
Three new cases were acquired overseas, bringing the total number of COVID-19 cases in NSW since the beginning of the pandemic to 4,943.
There were 16,397 tests reported to 8pm last night, compared with the previous day’s total of 18,885.

Today is the 25th day in a row with no reported locally acquired cases in NSW.
Maintaining high testing numbers is vital to keeping our community and loved ones safe. NSW Health urges anybody with any cold-like symptoms to come forward for testing, and to isolate until they receive a negative result.
NSW Health is continuing to screen passengers arriving on flights from Victoria and any person who enters NSW from Victoria by air or rail is required to complete a passenger declaration form.
The Holiday Inn Melbourne Airport has been added to the list of high-risk locations for screening of these passengers and NSW Health is contacting any person already in NSW who was at the hotel from 27 January to 9 February advising them to get tested immediately and isolate for 14 days since being there, regardless of the result.
People who have been to any of the public exposure sites listed on the
Victorian Department of Health and Human Services website during the relevant times must follow the associated public health advice.
Investigations continue into the source of infection of a returned overseas traveller from the Wollongong area who tested positive for COVID-19 after being released from hotel quarantine. Further information will be released as it becomes available.

NSW Health is treating 41 COVID-19 cases, none of whom are in intensive care. Most cases (98 cent) are being treated in non-acute, out-of-hospital care, including returned travellers in the Special Health Accommodation.
