COVID-19 (Coronavirus) statistics

As at 8pm Wednesday 10 June 2020, there have been no new cases of COVID-19 diagnosed since 8pm 9 June, meaning the total number of cases in NSW remains 3,117.

There were 9,746 tests carried out in the reporting period, compared with 5,703 in the previous 24 hours. More than 591,000 COVID 19 tests have been carried out in NSW.

NSW Health would like to thank those with symptoms for coming forward, getting tested and ensuring cases in the community are identified as quickly as possible.

There are currently 69 COVID-19 cases being treated by NSW Health, and none are in intensive care.

In NSW, 2,738 people have recovered from COVID-19.

The virus may still be circulating in the community. People with mild symptoms or those who show no obvious symptoms can unknowingly pass it to others.

With the easing of restrictions, it remains essential that everyone maintains social distancing of 1.5m and regularly washes their hands to minimise the risk of virus transmission.

NSW Health is again urging anyone feeling unwell – even with the mildest of symptoms such as a runny nose or scratchy throat – to isolate from others and get tested.
