New South Wales (NSW) is considered Australia’s premier state, packed with many of the countries iconic attractions, from the magnificent Sydney Harbour to the pristine wilderness of our national parks and world-renowned beaches.
The Australian lifestyle isn’t hard to sell but the many international junior doctors (called Junior Medical Officers or JMOs here) who have already joined our workforce tell us NSW Health’s professional development opportunities have been equally rewarding.
NSW Health can help you become the best doctor you can be.
As Australia’s largest healthcare system, we employ more than 170,000 staff in 220 public hospitals across the state. Whether you choose the city life, or to explore opportunities in our
rural and regional areas, you will be mentored and supported by leading specialists in their fields, working within state-of-the art facilities.
