Transcript of Occupational Therapy Student Intensity Training Program - South Western Sydney Local Health District

Deanna Aplitt: I would like to begin by acknowledging the Dharawal people, the traditional owners of the land on which we gather today, and pay my respects to their elders, past and present.

Undergraduate placements are essential to the clinical and professional development of occupational therapy students who will one day be our future workforce.

Loren Johnson: The implementation of the student intensity training provided a student model that facilitates skill-based learning for initial assessments, functional assessments, cognitive assessments, client care education, pressure care and equipment prescription.
