NSW Health Pathology
Judy is a collaborative leader and an
incredible role model for promoting positive cultural change. She has been
inspiring NSW Health Pathology staff throughout our response to the COVID-19
pandemic, as together we navigate the many unimagined challenges.
Judy has taken on the role of “swab
queen”. Largely through her efforts, we’ve ensured a steady supply of swab
collection kits to all of our laboratories.
Having quickly identified the need for
our 60 labs across the state to have enough swabs to conduct vital COVID-19
testing, she took responsibility for finding a solution and implementing the
process. The challenge of the unprecedented global demand only served to
motivate her further.
She worked collaboratively with our laboratory staff, the
logistics team from NSW Health Pathology’s corporate office and forged
partnerships with a number of LHD colleagues, vendors and medical and
scientific staff.
