Volume 1 aimed to recommend ways to improve the graphical communication of population health statistics of a broad audience. This volume expands further to provide a summary of graphs used in current Australian population health publications, a review of the literature on graph design principles and techniques that have been used to evaluate reader understanding of graphs.
