The final report by Peter Anderson into the safety of staff, patients and visitors in NSW public hospitals, identified and considered additional strategies to continue to improve security in hospitals.
Mr Anderson’s final report considers each of the recommendations from the Interim Report to either confirm that the recommendation remains unchanged, or modify those where further visits and consultations have brought new information to light, and to make new recommendations.
NSW Health have outlined their response to each of the recommendations of the Review into Improvements to Security in Hospitals.
The interim report by Peter Anderson into the safety of staff, patients and visitors in NSW public hospitals, identified and considered additional strategies to continue to improve security in hospitals.
Mr Anderson’s interim report contained 48 recommendations that build on the actions taken as part of the 12 point plan on hospital security (February 2016), and recommendations relating to hospital security from the Inquiry into violence against emergency services personnel.
