Nepean Blue Mountains Local Health District (NBMLHD) covers an area of 9,179 square kilometres in the Blue Mountains, Hawkesbury, Lithgow and Penrith local government areas.
Darug, Gundungurra and Wiradjuri peoples are the traditional custodians of the land.
In 2021 the estimated population was 384,742 residents, and over the decade to 2031, the overall population is projected to increase to 468,777.
