NSW Population Health Survey

The NSW Population Health Survey (the Survey) is an annual survey of people living in New South Wales. In 2024, the Survey sought participants through telephone and postal surveys, with the postal survey being completed online. The Survey collects information about a range of health risk factors and health behaviours.

NSW Health uses the information gathered from the Survey to better understand the community’s health needs and to monitor health status and health behaviours. Summary results from the Survey are published on the NSW Health website and HealthStats NSW.

If you have any concerns or comments about the Survey and wish to speak to someone from the NSW Ministry of Health, a representative can be reached on (02) 9391 9008 (Monday to Friday: 9am to 5pm).
