This is the first of several reports of the four-year independent evaluation of the Pathways to Community Living Initiative (PCLI) by the Centre for Health Service Development, Australian Health Services Research Institute, University of Wollongong.
Established by the NSW Government in 2014/15 the PCLI builds on the work of local health districts (LHDs), consumers, carers and advocacy groups to improve the quality of life for people with complex mental illness. This report outlines the scale of effort and investment in the establishment and initial three years (mid-2014 to December 2016) of the PCLI both at LHD and Ministry levels.
