Two women walking into a hospital. Some things have changed in hospitals because of COVID-19.

For example, doctors, nurses and other staff may be wearing more PPE than usual.

PPE stands for Personal Protective Equipment. It includes face masks, gloves and gowns.

This is to protect you and them from COVID-19.

In hospital, the NSW Health staff are there to look after you. You can always:

  • ask questions about your care
  • ask for help if you are in pain.
